A student essay/statement of purpose outlining your academic background plans to study in Canada and future strategy after your studies. This should be prepared carefully as you will not be attending the interview and the visa officer will take this statement into account when considering your application. 2. Two passport photographs for each applicant. Signed, dated and taken within the last six (6) months. On the other side write the name and date of birth of the person.
3. Processing fee – make sure you have paid the correct processing fee. A green receipt must be submitted with the application.
4. A valid passport for each person requires a temporary residence visa. The passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from the date you travel to Canada.
5. If applicable, attach any cancelled or expired passports.
6. If you are not living in your country of citizenship, you must submit a work permit/temporary residence permit.
7. A photocopy of the personal data sheet of each applicant’s passport.

8. Original and photocopy of the admission letter issued by the Canadian educational institution, even if you plan to study for less than six (6) months. If your admission is conditional, you must prove that you can meet the conditions.
9. Proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living expenses for at least one year in Canada. In addition to tuition fees, you must have at least CAD 10 000 available to cover living expenses.
