// What we run

Four types of Student Matters events

University Delegate Fairs

Meet admission officers from Irish, UK, Australian and Canadian universities face-to-face. Ask questions, get on-the-spot eligibility checks and collect brochures.

Online Webinars

Live Zoom sessions covering visa updates, intake deadlines, IELTS tips and scholarship guides. Join from Lahore, Karachi, Dhaka or anywhere with a connection.

Pre-Departure Briefings

SM Launch sessions for students whose visas have been approved — airport arrival, banking, IRP registration, accommodation check-in and orientation week prep.

Scholarship Info Sessions

Dedicated sessions on Chevening, Government of Ireland, DAAD, Fulbright and university merit awards — including essay and CV guidance.

// Why attend

What you get at a Student Matters fair

Our fairs are not just brochure-collection stands. You get direct access to university delegates, SM counsellors and other students planning the same destination.

  • Meet university delegates — ask questions no brochure answers
  • On-the-spot eligibility check for courses and visa
  • Real admission timelines and scholarship deadlines from the source
  • SM counsellors available for private 1-on-1 sessions at events
  • Connect with other students planning the same destination
  • Take home application checklists, fee tables and intake calendars

// Prepare

What to bring to a Student Matters fair

1

Academic transcripts (copies)

Degree certificates, O/A levels, HSC — needed for on-the-spot eligibility checks.

2

English test score (if taken)

IELTS, PTE or TOEFL certificate. If not yet taken, flag this — we will advise on test timeline.

3

Passport copy

For university and visa eligibility verification.

4

List of questions

Prepare 3-5 specific questions about your target course — not just 'what scholarships are available'.

5

Course shortlist

Know 2-3 universities and programmes you are interested in — delegates can give specific admission advice.

6

Open mind on destinations

Many students arrive wanting one country and leave with a better-matched option after delegate conversations.

  • Scholarship essay sessions
  • IELTS and PTE preparation tips
