1. Who we partner with
Student Matters works best with established counselling agencies, independent education consultants, school-based counsellors and migration agents who already advise students on study abroad.
We do not partner with individuals or agencies who have a history of document fraud, fake visa guarantees, or unethical practices.

2. What partnership includes

3. Our ethics and compliance requirements
Student Matters holds ICEF accreditation (#5531) and is committed to ethical student counselling. All partners must commit to the same standards. Partnership is withdrawn immediately if a partner is found to be involved in document fraud or fake guarantee marketing.
- Never fabricate financial documents or academic transcripts
- Never promise visa approval ? we do not make this claim and neither should partners
- Represent Student Matters contact and branding correctly ? do not use our name alongside competitor branding
- Declare previous refusals honestly in student files
- Student welfare comes before commission revenue
- GDPR / data privacy: student data must be handled securely

4. Commission structure overview
Student Matters pays commission to partners on confirmed student enrolments at partner universities. Commission rates are competitive and disclosed upfront in the partnership agreement.
Commission is only payable after the student has enrolled and the university has confirmed the referral to Student Matters.

- Invoicing: partner invoices SM after enrollment confirmation
- No upfront payments to partners ? commission is earned, not advanced

5. ICEF and accreditation context
Student Matters is ICEF accredited (#5531). ICEF is the international network for international education recruitment professionals ? accreditation reflects a commitment to ethical, quality student recruitment.
Partnering with an ICEF-accredited agency gives your students additional confidence and may facilitate your own ICEF accreditation process.
